FGCU Alumni Association Launches "Eagle Entourage" Network to
Connect with Graduates
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association (FGCUAA) announced today the launch of "Eagle Entourage," a new online network provided by Affinity Circles Inc. that connects FGCU alumni securely online with friends and friends-of-friends based on shared interests, mutual acquaintances, profession and location.
The free service provides an opportunity to increase the alumni's social and professional network. The service allows FGCU alumni to stay current with events and recent developments of the University, share photos and post blogs, and reconnect with friends in a secure environment exclusive to the FGCU alumni network.
In turn, FGCUAA can stay connected to alumni by notifying graduates about reunions, travel programs and continuing education opportunities. In addition, graduates can connect with other alumni through their geographical location - one of many features that create the alumni's network.
Eagle Entourage provides professional networking services through inCircle Jobs, an interactive section of the website that allows employers to post job listings online to FGCU alumni and to alumni of other professional networks such as University of Florida's "Gator Nation" or University of Southern California's "Fight On!Line."
Unlike traditional job boards, inCircle Jobs creates a direct employer-employee relationship. The service provides the opportunity for employers to directly connect with an exclusive, high-traffic network of over 7,000 FGCU alumni. This allows employers to recruit quality candidates from FGCU.
Other benefits the network provides to employers include the opportunity to brand company profiles by submitting company information such as location, website and type of industry. Additionally, employers can write a company description that informs job seekers about its mission, vision and current projects. The inCircle employer profile allows companies to be network-rated, a five star system based on compensation, career advancement and balance between work and personal life. This service is available to employers for $140 for a 60-day post. The service is free to FGCU alumni.
