FGCU's Renaissance Academy Announces Fall 2007 Course Offerings; Holds Open House Oct. 14

FORT MYERS, FL - The Renaissance Academy at Florida Gulf Coast University announces its fall 2007 schedule of programs featuring an extensive and diverse curriculum of more than 130 lectures and courses. An open house is scheduled 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Renaissance Academy's FGCU Naples Center, 1010 Fifth Avenue South.

The Renaissance Academy is the University's lifelong learning program designed to enrich the intellectual and cultural lives of the Southwest Florida community. Single lectures, short courses, day trips, computer classes, film series, life enrichment, and travel abroad are some of the programs offered by the Academy. There are no exams or grades, just learning for the joy of learning with friends, neighbors and peers.

Course fees are typically $25 per lecture, and provide access to Academy programs located at twelve locations throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
