Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network Hosts
"Network After Five" Event Nov. 15
FORT MYERS, FL - The Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) invites service providers to the small business community to attend a membership meeting to discuss year-end tax and audit topics from top professionals, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Landings Golf & Country Club in South Fort Myers. The event is a monthly meeting for the Southwest Florida SBRN sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast University's Small Business Development Center.
Speakers include Mike Briers, CPA, who presents "Accounting and its Role in Managing Your Business." Marie Grasmeier, CPA and tax manager presents "Timely Tax Advice for the Entrepreneur."
Additionally, there will be a discussion on the vital role of the auditor.
Following the presentations, participants are invited to stay for the November "Network After Five" social gathering for an opportunity to meet and network with attorneys, CPA's, insurance agents, business consultants, agencies, and other lenders and bankers.
Deadline for registration is Nov. 13. The cost for the event is $15 per person for hors d'oeuvres, with cash bar available.
