FGCU Awards 35 Tuition Scholarships for the Teacher Immersion Program (TIP)

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University, through a grant from the Florida Department of Education, awarded 35 post-graduates full tuition scholarships to complete their state-approved alternative teacher certification program.
The Teacher Immersion Program (TIP) consists of nine courses and several workshops (taught via a flexible schedule), which prepare qualified candidates for the Florida Professional Educators Certificate. Three of the courses provide nine graduate credits that may be applied toward a master's degree.
