Ft. Myers Toyota Supports FGCU's Environmental Mission; Donates Hybrid
FORT MYERS, FL - Ft. Myers Toyota dealership supports Florida Gulf Coast University's mission to keep the environment green. The dealership donated a 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in response to FGCU's third president, Dr. Wilson G. Bradshaw's commitment to keep the environment clean. The vehicle will be used for the President's transportation needs.

According to Consumer Reports, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid is a new wave of hybrid vehicles that use their gas/electric powertrain to boost engine performance as well as fuel economy. The result is significantly quicker acceleration coupled with cleaner emissions and a moderate increase in gas mileage compared with conventional versions. This particular model was rated excellent by Consumer Reports for overall blend of performance, fuel economy and comfort.
