WHAT "Building Bridges and Alliances.Mental Health 101" half-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government's Non-Profit Series. This workshop will assist participants in their interactions with individuals whose behavior they do not understand. It provides an overview of the major mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depression, helping to dispel the myths about individuals who have these illnesses and emphasize the importance of re-framing stereotypical thinking. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how to interact successfully with all individuals they encounter. Michael McNally and Dr. Jan Eustis are instructors for the program.
