WHO FGCU College of Professional Studies, for criminal justice and law enforcement professionals, general public
WHAT "Firearms and Cartridge Identification" full-day seminar presents a history of firearm ammunition, nomenclature and identification. The seminar covers firearm definitions, operating principles, legal classifications, and demonstrations. In addition, it addresses the safety issues concerning the seizure of firearms by competent law enforcement officials during an investigation.

WHY This educational seminar will benefit criminal justice and law enforcement professionals who need to be aware of the operating principles of each type of weapon and the threat that it posts, attorneys who need to know the legal definitions of each type of weapon, and students of Criminal Justice and Forensics.
COST $75 for the public; $35 for students (funds support the FGCU American Criminal Justice Association Chapter of Lambda Alpha Epsilon)
