WHO FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers, supervisors and employees from both the private and public sectors

WHAT "Business Writing.Conveying Your Message Effectively" half-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government's Professional Writing Series. The workshop uses lessons learned in the examination of the written word and non-verbal communication, and shows how the missing link - conveying the right attitude - reveals itself on the written page. Examples will demonstrate how inappropriate word usage, formatting errors, wrongly placed clip-art, and other calamities speak louder than words. Participants will learn to deliver the intended message clearly and concisely. Lorna Kibbey is instructor for the course.
