WHAT "Building Effective Boards.One Member at a Time" half-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government's Non-Profit Series. The workshop provides board members or those considering board membership the skills to become more productive and move the organization forward in its mission and vision. The workshop includes a variety of learning styles: lecture, small group work, and question and answer session to help participants take board operations to the next level. Cliff Smith, president of United Way of Lee is instructor for the program.
