Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network to Highlight Services Offered at FGCU's Small Business Development Center
FORT MYERS, FL - The Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) holds its monthly "Network After Five" event, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21 at Florida Gulf Coast University's Center for Leadership and Innovation, 12751 Westlinks Drive, Building 3, Unit 7 at the Gateway Center in East Fort Myers. The event is a monthly meeting for the Southwest Florida SBRN sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast's Small Business Development Center.
Meeting theme is "All About FGCU's Small Business Development Center." The meeting acknowledges the outstanding work being performed by the Centerís counselors. Owners of small businesses throughout the area are invited to attend.
Attendees will learn about the Center and the many services it offers to owners of small businesses. Participants will hear from the Center's expert state-certified analysts/counselors who provide free counseling to individuals with questions or need assistance in starting or growing their businesses. Attendees will also hear success stories of how the Center helped area businesses grow.
Speakers include assistant director for FGCU Small Business Development Center Suzanne Specht, finance and business planning expert; State Star Award winner Julio Estremera, Certified Business Analyst (CBA), financial planning, restaurants, and bilingual expert; Dan Telep, CBA, procurement and technical assistance, doing business with the federal government expert; Tor Ostensen, CBA, doing business with Lee County expert; Judith Pultro, CBA, operations management, planning and marketing expert; and Sean Moore, Certified Business Analyst for Hendry and Glades counties.
Deadline for registration is Aug. 19. Cost for SBRN members is $15 per person for hors d'oeuvres. Guest fee is $20.
