Business Roundtable President John CastellaniTo Speak at FGCU's Institute for Responsible Corporate Governance
FORT MYERS, FL - The newly created Institute for Responsible Corporate Governance at Florida Gulf Coast University announces John Castellani, president of The Business Roundtable, will be keynote speaker for a program on "Seismic Changes in the Washington Landscape and Their Effect on Corporate Governance," 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Sugden Welcome Center. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. with a reception to follow.
Castellani regularly provides testimony before Congress on key concerns to Business Roundtable membership, and frequently appears on programs such as NBC's Meet the Press, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Fox News Special Report and CNBC's Street Signs. The Business Roundtable is an association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. corporations with a combined workforce of more than 10 million employees and $4.5 trillion in annual revenues. It has been cited by the Financial Times as "the most influential chief executive lobbying group in the U.S.," and is at the forefront of public policy debates, advocating for a vigorous, dynamic global economy.
This is the first of four leading edge programs for current and former corporate directors, executives, governance professionals and interested parties to be offered by the Institute for Responsible Corporate Governance at the Lutgert College of Business - Center for Leadership & Innovation.
