METI Vice President of Engineering Carlos Moreno to Speak at FGCU's Software Technologies Distinguished Lecture Series Dec. 10
FORT MYERS, FL - The 2008-09 season of Software Technologies Distinguished Lecture Series at Florida Gulf Coast University will be launched with a talk by Carlos Moreno, vice president of Engineering at Medical Education Technologies, Inc. (METI), 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, in Lutgert Hall 1201.
Located in Sarasota, Medical Education Technologies, Inc. (METI) is a company specializing in the development of simulators for use in medical applications.
Moreno discusses the technological history of METI since its creation in 1996 to the present in the areas of core technologies, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering and system integration.
The talk will be preceded by demos of the most recent Computer Science student projects, starting at 4:30 p.m. For the Computer Science program website designed by students visit http://cs.fgcu.edu/index.html.
