FGCU, Coconut Point Mall Sponsor Dress for Success Fashion Show, April 4
FORT MYERS, FL - The offices of Career Development Services, Multicultural Development Services and Campus Involvement at Florida Gulf Coast University, and Coconut Point Mall, co-sponsor "Work Your Closet" fashion show aimed at college juniors and seniors entering the working world on a budget, 3 p.m., Saturday, April 4 at Coconut Point Mall in the main courtyard next to Brighton Collectibles. The event is free and open to the public.
The purpose of the event is to teach students how to transition from a "college wardrobe" to a "career wardrobe" by adding strategic pieces and gaining a working knowledge of what "works" as professional attire. This will be accomplished by mixing the model's own wardrobe with donated pieces from participating Coconut Point stores in an innovative fashion show.
"Work Your Closet" will be hosted by Barbara Dell, fashion consultant and owner of Barbara Dell Productions.
Keynote speaker is Chico's FAS vice president of Production and Quality Tanya Cauren. She will address the topics of professionalism and appropriate dress.
Career Development Services, Multicultural Student Development Services, and Campus Involvement are members of the Division of Student Affairs at FGCU.
The Division of Student Affairs is a partner in achieving the academic mission of FGCU.
