WHAT "Symphonic Band and Wind Orchestra in Concert. Free and open to the public.
WHEN 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14
WHERE Student Union Ballroom
WHY The Symphonic Band, conducted by FGCU instructor Troy Jones features music by Hazo, Daugherty and Reed. The Wind Orchestra conducted by FGCU associate professor Rod Chesnutt will perform music by Silva, Rodrigo and Ginastera. Student conductor Leah Hassell will make her conducting debut with the Wind Orchestra.
