FGCU's Theatre Lab Opens Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit"
10/18/2010
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University's Theatre Lab invites the public to the opening of "No Exit," written by Jean-Paul Sartre and directed by Barry Cavin, Oct. 27 through Nov. 7 at the FGCU Arts Complex on campus.
Performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., and a matinee performance on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Locked behind a closed door in a windowless room, three strangers sit condemned to an eternal torture of being with each other. Jean-Paul Sartre's classic existential masterpiece is claustrophobically packed with human failures and the toxic result of those weaknesses rubbing up against each other in a stifling battle for the meaning of identity, and for the quiet peace of death.
Tickets are $7 and can be purchased online at: http://theatrelab.fgcu.edu.
