Corporate Directors Series: FGCU Institute for Responsible Corporate Governance Hosts National Speaker Ken Daly, Feb. 3
FORT MYERS, FL - Institute for Responsible Corporate Governance at Florida Gulf Coast University invites interested parties to hear and interact with national speaker Ken Daly, President and CEO of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) as he discusses the ramifications of the new Dodd-Frank legislation on American businesses and its corporate directors, Thursday, Feb. 3.
The program titled, "The Practical Impact of the Dodd-Frank Legislation: The New Realities of the Board-Shareholder Relationship" is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sugden Welcome Center on the Florida Gulf Coast University campus. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. with a speaker's reception to follow from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Participants may obtain educational credits from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Ken Daly is the president and CEO of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), a position he has held since May, 2007. As the head of the nation's largest member-based organization for corporate board directors, Ken is a recognized expert on corporate governance, executive compensation, and corporate board transformation.
He is the architect of NACD's National Campaign to Strengthen Corporate Governance, a campaign empowering corporate boards and individual directors to lead the way to restoring public and investor confidence in corporate America. The effort gives directors a platform to demonstrate to stakeholders that corporate board directors take their jobs seriously and are working tirelessly to contribute to America's economic recovery.
