FGCU Small Business Development Center Hosts Disney Executive Director in Naples March 15
FORT MYERS, FL - Jerry Ross, executive director of Disney Entrepreneur Center in Orlando, will speak at a small business seminar sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) 8 a.m., Tuesday, March 15 at the Naples Daily News Community Room, located at 1100 Immokalee Rd, North Naples.
The free seminar is also sponsored by The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, SCORE Naples Chapter and the Florida Women’s Center.
Strategic marketing for small business is the theme for the two-hour program. Topics include choosing your marketing strategy, discovering inexpensive tactics and developing your marketing action plan.
Ross has held leadership positions with AT&T, Ohio Bell and Goal Systems Software. He has been an active entrepreneur in Orlando for the past 20 years, launching a variety of successful enterprises. In 2007, he was selected in a nationwide search to serve as the executive director of the Disney Center.
He is known as the "virtual business incubator" by the Orlando Business Journal, and has been named one of Central Florida's "Top 10 Businessmen to Watch." Ross is chairman of the District Export Council of Central Florida and board member of Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.
