The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Establishes Scholarship Fund for FGCU Business Students
FORT MYERS, FL - The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company has donated $25,000 to establish a scholarship fund at Florida Gulf Coast University.
The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Business Scholarship Endowed Fund will provide scholarships in perpetuity to students in the FGCU Lutgert College of Business.
According to Donald A. Lesch, co-chairman of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and chairman of the FGCU Foundation, "Through my association with Florida Gulf Coast University, I have witnessed firsthand the impact of scholarships on students' lives. We hope that others will be inspired to join us in supporting scholarships for FGCU students as well."
Albert D. Hanser, Founder, chief executive officer and co-chairman of The Sanibel Trust Company said, "We are proud to provide this gift to help Lutgert College of Business students attain their academic degrees and we eagerly await meeting our first scholarship recipients this fall. It is our hope that these students will stay in the Southwest Florida area to enrich the economy for the benefit of all of us."
