Renaissance Academy Announces Dynamics of Supervision Lecture Series
FORT MYERS, FL –Florida Gulf Coast University's Office of Continuing Education offers a lecture series in June for the newly promoted, first-time supervisor, or the experienced supervisor who needs to sharpen and enhance specific skill sets.
Each module of "Dynamics of Supervision" explores an aspect of supervision and provides the participant with the knowledge and skills to function more effectively in that role. The series of eight stand-alone, three-hour modules begins with "Supervision - Learning the Basics" from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 1. Dr. Robert Peterson, a Six Sigma Black Belt Master, will lead the program. Other topics in the series include "Developing Your Supervisory Skills," "Selecting & Motivating Team Members," "Improving the Quality & Productivity of Your Team," "HR Laws & Time Management," “Setting & Achieving Performance Standards" and "Handling Difficult People & Difficult Situations."
