She began her graduate career working as a Research Assistant for the Department of Civil Engineering. As a doctoral candidate she served as Assistant to the Dean for the College Of Engineering Academic Programs working with academic leadership in coordinating and synchronizing aspects common to all undergraduate engineering degrees.
Dr. Orndoff received her Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from UIUC in 2001. Her dissertation encompassed customer focus in asset management where she pioneered a new methodology for assets identification and assessing their corresponding worth.
