Program Series: Dynamics of Supervision
With Charles Brox

Presented by: FGCU's Institute of Government & Office of Continuing Education

Each Series contains 6 Modules;
Dec 8 thru Jan 19, 2012 (Punta Gorda)
8:30 AM - 11:30 AM all sessions

This series is designed for the newly promoted first-time supervisor or the experienced supervisor who needs to sharpen and enhance specific skill sets. Each module explores an aspect of supervision and provides the participant with the knowledge and skills to function effectively in that role.

Whether on the factory floor, in the field, or an office setting, all supervisors can be better leaders by mastering the skill sets taught in these courses.

Cost: $175 series/$35 per module

The Renaissance Academy - Charlotte County has joined the Punta Gorda Downtown Merchants Association and the Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County to bring you Gallery Walk. It takes place on the third Thursday of every month from 5 to 8 pm. Spend an evening with us browsing shops and galleries, trying food and beverage samples, and listening to a variety of local musicians. Our Herald Court Centre location will feature a special guest artist each month.

Artistic Photographer, Bernie Hynes

Meet local artist, Bernie Hynes and explore his artistic vision. This exhibit is a compilation of digital photographic images that allows you to enjoy his thrill of the hunt for that moment in time waiting to be perfectly captured. See Hynes' ability to render each image from a photograph print into an image that is painterly like. "As an artistic photographer, my goal is to create digital art from the natural beauty of Southwest Florida." ~Bernie Hynes

Herald Court Theatre Kids is a multi-year theatre/dance education program for children. This program is offered through FGCU's Renaissance Academy of Charlotte County and in association with The Performing Arts Development Cooperative. The curriculum includes experiential, interactive activities such as script-writing, acting, designing, directing, researching, connecting, analyzing, understanding, and performing.
