Designed for the newly promoted, the supervisor-to-be, or the experienced supervisor desiring to expand or sharpen their tool box of supervisory skills, each phase introduces participants to new challenges through real-life experiences using case studies, role playing and group discussions.
Participants will acquire the skills to effectively lead a work force team in our dynamically changing work world. Throughout the sessions the presenter will visit each participant at their work-site, making the learning more realistic and relevant. Participants will increase their self-awareness, self-esteem, confidence, and assertiveness.
This is a six-week seminar covering two hours of material per class. This seminar will assist the team member in developing a better and more positive understanding of the role and responsibilities of their supervisor and the benefits of TEAM building, improving verbal and non-verbal communications to include listening skills. We emphasize the positive benefits of why we need to learn to "play" more effectively together for our own growth and welfare of our organization. Side benefits: increased self-esteem, confidence and interpersonal skills.
