Charge

The FGCU Eagles Club Board of Advisors was established in the fall, 2009.  The Board has responsibility for the policy, by-laws, and program of work subject to review and approval by the Board of Trustees of Florida Gulf Coast University.  The purpose of the Eagles Board is to promote and support the Intercollegiate Athletic Program at the University.  The Board is a volunteer group, committed to the goals of the University, the NCAA, the Atlantic Sun Conference, and the Athletic Department.  Opportunities to serve on the board, through a variety of committees, include membership, activities, special events, and development.  Subcommittees also exist and encompass additional volunteers (who have a specific interest).  Meetings are held monthly.
