The Bob Butehorn Florida Gulf Coast University Soccer Camp is based on a simple coaching principle: the key to learning and developing as a young player is having fun. The enjoyment of each camper allows us to achieve our main objective, which is to teach each player how to reach his/her full potential as a soccer player.
Within an environment of positive reinforcement and efficient communication, we implement learning exercises and functional training that develop the techniques, skills, and team tactics needed to succeed as a soccer player. Every exercise at camp will be conducted with the ball, and the motivational sessions will build an appreciation of how to approach the game - mentally, physically, emotionally, and tactically - as a true soccer player.
