About Us

The Kleist Health Education Center located at the entrance of Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) in Fort Myers is the only one of its kind in Florida, and provides a unique experience for children and adults. Highly skilled instructors bring three teaching theaters to life using dynamic models, exciting displays, and every kind of multimedia presentation. The center goes far beyond teaching health education. Instead of visitors passively sitting and watching, classes are immersed into our highly interactive and animated health education programs.

Mission

The Kleist Health Education Center is an educational, not-for-profit organization devoted to promoting healthy lifestyles. Our mission is to cultivate life-long habits that empower individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices and reduce destructive decision making. Through the use of our dynamic interactive educational programs, children and adults will begin a lifetime journey of healthy living.

Teaching Method

Highly skilled instructors bring three teaching theaters to life using dynamic models, exciting displays, and every kind of multimedia presentation. The Center goes far beyond a simple museum. Instead of visitors passively watching, classes are interactive, animated and full of vital information.
