List of assessments:
FGCU - SAI*
FGCU - SAI is administered every Fall and Spring semester to all lecture
courses that have an enrollment of 6 or more students. All sections
taught via Distance Learning or held in PC Classrooms use the Online
SAI. Team-taught sections are given one packet of surveys per instructor.
Cross-listed sections are combined and given one packet.
Alternative Assessments*
Additional alternative assessments are developed in collaboration with
the Assistant Director of Assessment (ext. 7048) in the Office of Planning
& Institutional Performance.
Lab Assessments [Math]
[Science]*
An alternative assessment is administered to Lab sections that have
an enrollment of 6 or more students. Results are returned to the coordinator
of Lab sections who in turn distribute to the individual instructor.
Art Senior Project Assessment*
An alternative assessment is administered to Art Senior Project sections that have
an enrollment of 6 or more students. Results are returned to the individual instructor.
Clinical Assessment*
The School of Nursing administers an alternative assessment to Clinical
sections that have an enrollment of 6 or more students. Results are
returned to the Director of the School of Nursing who in turn distribute
to the individual instructor.

Theater Assessment
FGCU SAI, Lab Assessments, Clinical Assessments,
and other alternative assessments are administered the last
3 instructional weeks of the semester as designated by the official
academic
calendar.
All assessment responses are anonymous as long as students
do not write their names in the open-ended item section. OPIP will provide
faculty with the number of responses that come in to the Online SAI
system, but will never report to faculty which students have responded.
