Check and Update Your Spring 2008 Course Information for SAI

Course information for administration of Student Assessment of Instruction has been posted at:
http://www.fgcu.edu/planning/studentassessment/facultyinfo/

The method of administration (either online, paper, alternative, or not assessed) and other course information is posted there.

Please check and adjust your course information by February 26th.

Any class which meets in a computer lab or is offered via DL is expected to complete the SAI on-line. Other faculty will receive a packet and will complete the SAI paper-pencil form, unless you choose to administer the SAI On-line.

SAI will not be administered to courses with 5 or less students.

Updates

Information Systems has updated the process for our course list. We are hoping this will provide us with a more accurate start to the process. We need you to check your course information and let us know.

Planning & Institutional Performance has updated the Online SAI application. There will be updated instructions for students.

Questions or Concerns Regarding SAI Policy

Please direct any policy questions or concerns to the Faculty Affairs Team of the Faculty Senate.

Student Assessment of Instruction at FGCU Website

The office of Planning & Institutional Performance maintains a website dedicated to Student Assessment of Instruction. Information is posted there for Faculty and Students.

There is a complete overview for faculty posted at:
http://www.fgcu.edu/planning/studentassessment/FacultyInfo/Information/Index.htm

The overview describes the current practices, timelines, reasons for invalidation of packets, tips for improving your SAI results, well as a look at the different forms currently in use.
