Goal 5 Provide continuous service in the = areas of operations including utility services and routine and = preventative maintenance of the University campus buildings, equipment = and grounds. Annually, perform 90% of all routine and preventative = maintenance within the scheduled time period, as recorded in the = Physical Plant maintenance plan.

Respond to service interruptions = and emergencies within the hour. =C2=A0Communicate extent of = interruption and estimate of time to repair the affected areas within = one day.		 Attaining less than the stated measure = will initiate further investigation, and may be the basis for allocating = additional resources to routine maintenance.

Attaining less than = the stated measure will be the basis for revising emergency action = plans.		 Semi-annual = assessments include:
Performance contract reports on utility = usage.
Customer satisfaction surveys.
Turnaround reports by = priority and by shop.
Goal 8 Provide quality service in a timely = manner for all service requests from faculty, staff, and students for = unscheduled maintenance and special requests. Attain a level of user satisfaction such that at least = 85% of the respondents to the survey are satisfied with the overall = service.




Attain the following:
--Respond to 100% = of requests for service within 5 business days with an estimate of the = cost and time to complete.
--Complete 85% of work requests within the = allotted time.		 Attaining less than the target level = of user satisfaction will prompt analysis of service records and/or more = specific surveys, to identify problem areas and revise program = priorities. =C2=A0

Attaining less than the target measure will = prompt a review of program priorities and serve as the basis for revised = budget requests and allocation.		 Semi-annual = assessments include:

Goal 8 Provide quality service in all = Maintenance Shops, Grounds and Shipping and = Receiving. For each of these basic service areas, a minimum of 85% = of the respondents shall indicate they are satisfied with the service = provided. Attaining less than the target level = of user satisfaction will prompt analysis of service records and/or more = specific surveys, to identify problem areas and revise program = priorities. Semi-annual = assessments include:
customer satisfaction surveys.
Turnaround = reports by priority and by shop.
Goal 5 Deliver additional services = efficiently through outsourcing and administering contracts with = providers, including waste removal, recycling, grounds keeping, pest = control, custodial, utilities and other Physical Plant = functions. For each of the contractual service areas, a minimum of = 75% of the respondents shall indicate they are satisfied with the = service provided. Contracted services whose user = satisfaction measure does not meet the standard will be targeted for = additional investigation and more detailed surveys to determine the = specific deficiencies. =C2=A0Contracts will be renegotiated to ensure = standards are met.
