The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is an elected board of 24 representatives from various departments on campus. These representatives are charged with fostering open and effective communication with the Staff and Leadership in order to support the employee’s role at the University.

Full SAC meetings are held once a month and all of its representatives work on various committees that meet periodically throughout the year. These committees are based on topics that touch every aspect of campus employment life. In addition to the Staff Advisory Council's committee work, SAC also plans and hosts staff community building events such as the annual Staff Assembly, Winter Social, and assistance with both Welcome Back and Cinco De Mayo.

SAC strongly encourages all campus staff to attend monthly meetings, give feedback through use of our comments committee, and to support and attend our annual functions. We look forward to serving the staff at FGCU and WELCOME!
