New User Instructions
The cursor is a moving icon on a web page that indicates the focus of activity. It takes different forms depending on it's position:
- An I bar when it's over text
- A pointing finger when it's over a hyperlink
- An arrow when it's over the background or a graphic
A hyperlink is a word or phrase, usually a different color and underlined, that jumps you to a different page or a section of the same page or a new page. Images can also be hyperlinked.
For example, click here to return to the home page for the Technology Skills Orientation site.
