Undergraduate Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University promotes academic excellence and student success and engagement with a special focus on undergraduate programs and students. We support the mission of the university through promoting environmental sustainability, embracing diversity, nurturing community partnerships, encouraging civic engagement and service learning, and cultivating habits of lifelong learning.

Several offices and programs are coordinated through Undergraduate Studies, including:

  • The Accelerated Collegiate Experience (ACE)
  • The American Democracy Project (ADP)
  • The Center for Academic Achievement (CAA)
  • The Honors Program
  • Office of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (SL/CE)
  • The Writing Center.

In addition, Undergraduate Studies supports two important elements of Florida Gulf Coast University’s curriculum, including:

  • The General Education Program
  • The University Colloquium: A Sustainable Future.

Finally, Undergraduate Studies also advances several initiatives, including the First Year Experience and the Assessment Council.
