Specimen Collecting

All research activities that involve harvesting marine specimens may require a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission- Special Activities License (SAL). Please inquire with the FWC Division of Marine Fisheries for the latest regulations concerning collection of species in Florida waterways.

Allow at least 3 months for the SAL application to be processed.
