20' Pontoon Boat

This vessel is ideal for transporting students and instructors to classroom study sites. It is powered by a 70-hp Evinrude motor. Capacity is 10 persons.

25' C-Hawk

This vessel is powered by twin 175 -hp Johnson motors. Complete complement of electronics. Features include a wheelhouse, large deck area, and dive ladder.

27' Grady White Sailfish

This 1999 cabin cruiser is ideal for offshore research and is powered by twin 200-hp Yamaha motors. Includes head, freshwater washdown, fish/depth finder, chart plotter, GPS, and dive ladder.

30' Pontoon Barge

This vessel is powered by a new 300-hp Mercury Verado motor. Large wooden deck also has two 1-ton davits mounted on bow. This very sturdy vessel can accommodate a diversity of research projects that need a large deck area for equipment. Geologic core-boring equipment/use exemplify previous uses for this vessel.

17' Center Console

2004 Sea Pro center console powered by 90-hp Yamaha motor. GPS/ depth finder and dive ladder.

19' Carolina Skiff

This vessel is ideal for research crews to study the shallow estuary. It is a 2004 Center Console powered by a 90-hp 4-stroke Yamaha motor. Capacity is 6 persons.

Canoes/Kayaks

21 canoes and 2 kayaks are available for use in the local waterways. Personal flotation devices (PFD’s) and paddles are available.
