FGCU Florida Institute for Government Workshop "Professional Networking for Results"
FORT MYERS, FL - Managers and employees from both the private and public sectors are invited to attend a half-day workshop "Professional Networking for Results" presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The workshop will be held at the Center for Professional Development at Edison Community College.
Networking helps professionals to maximize business by getting others to market for you. It's more than just handing out business cards and hoping people will call. Networking is about building business relationships and partnerships. This workshop will unveil the keys necessary to establish successful networking skills.

Allison Blankenship is instructor for the program. She has more than two decades of hands-on experience in management, marketing and communications. She was the first female regional director for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and was part of the management team that won the Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award. She is a Certified Performax instructor and one of three national Master Trainers.
The central purpose of the Institute is to help promote superior performance in government and nonprofit organizations through quality training, consulting and technical assistance.
