"Personal Excellence" Workshop Offered by FGCU Florida Institute of Government
FORT MYERS, FL - Managers, supervisors and employees from both the private and public sectors are invited to attend a one-day course “Personal Excellence” presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 at the FGCU Broadcast Building Room 111.
The workshop teaches the steps to discovering excellence in everything employees do, including working with inspiration, enthusiasm, purpose and genuine care for their work, the people they work with and the people they serve.

Ava Fluty is instructor for the course. She is a keynote speaker, humorist, seminar leader and consultant with international experience. Her dynamic seminars have provided private corporations, government agencies, businesses and individuals with strategies on topics such as communication, conflict resolution, motivation and leadership. She has a master’s degree in administration and supervision, and is working toward a doctorate.
The central purpose of the Institute is to help promote superior performance in government and nonprofit organizations through quality training, consulting and technical assistance.
