FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Bower School of Music presents a combined performance of the FGCU String, Wind and Symphony Orchestras, 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 17 in the Student Union ballroom. They will be conducted by Rod M. Chesnutt and joined by oboe soloist Aaron Hilbun. The performance is free and open to the public.

Chesnutt is associate professor and Head of Instrumental Music in the Bower School of Music where he teaches courses in music education, wind literature and conducting. Chesnutt also wrote the music to FGCU's fight song, which debuted last November at the FGCU women's basketball home-opener game.
