FGCU Small Business Development Center Hosts Free Workshop, Dec. 5
11/30/2009

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with Fifth Third Bank, will bring mobile classrooms to Golden Gate Community Center, 4701 Golden Gate Parkway in Naples, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, to offer free business counseling and education topics to the public.

"Business, Brunch and Buses" is a free brunch and bilingual workshop. Participants will learn what resources are available to the business community. In addition, attendees will meet with SBDC staff and other business partners who will assist with questions about starting a business and doing business with Southwest Florida and the federal government.

Workshop presenters include Tammie J. Nemecek, president and CEO of EDC Collier County; Janis Vargas, counselor for SCORE in Naples; Michelle P. Macias of All Around Bookkeeping; Julio Estremera, certified business analyst at SBDC; and J.J. Miranda, vice president, SBA Business Lending at Fifth Third Bank.
