FGCU Small Business Development Center Hosts 11th Annual Entrepreneurís Law School

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Lutgert College of Business - Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosts the 11th annual Entrepreneur's Law School seminar to help small business owners and potential business owners improve their knowledge of the legal issues pertaining to their businesses, beginning 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Student Union ballroom.

The hour-long sessions are conducted by attorneys who are experienced in the legal matters of small business.

The sessions address dozens of the legal issues and questions raised by small business owners including immigration law, business law, employment law, contracts, legal business forms, liability issues, intellectual property and the legalities of transfer of ownership.

Keynote speaker is dean of FGCU Lutgert College of Business Richard Pegnetter.

Facilitator for the seminar is Beth Hagan, SBDC volunteer. "We are pleased to be able to offer this community outreach program to the small business owners who may have questions or concerns about their business, but do not know where to go or who to hire. It is also an opportunity to meet experts in their profession in one place and in one day."

Cost to attend the seminar (includes lunch) is $75 for morning or afternoon sessions, and $95 for the full day if purchased in advance. At the door and half-day cost is $95, and full day is $105. Register at www.sbdcseminars.org or call (239)745-3700 for more information.
