FGCU Small Business Development Center Offers QuickBooks Seminar
8/27/2010

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a four-week QuickBooks Simple Start Series, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1 at FGCU Main Campus -Lutgert Hall #4201.

Cyrine Butler, certified QuickBooks trainer and owner of DBL Accounting, LLC, will teach the course. Butler teaches the basic fundamentals and understanding of QuickBooks. The 12-hour course provides participants hands-on training such as entering sales information, paying bills, working with bank accounts, tracking and paying sales tax and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops.

Butler has been in the accounting field for over 25 years and has owned DBL Accounting for two years. Her commitment to clients is exceptional service, superior expertise and timely responses to inquiries. "I love helping business owners with their accounting needs and understand that bookkeeping can be challenging to some people. If they establish good accounting habits early on by keeping good records, fix mistakes as they happen and be consistent, it will make their lives so much better."
