SBDC Presents “Turning Your Passion to Profit (P2P)” Workshop
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center presents the second annual "Turning Your Passion to Profit (P2P)" business educational workshop, Saturday, Oct. 23 at FGCU Lutgert College of Business. The event kicks off with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. sponsored by Costco of Fort Myers, and features an all-day onsite mini trade show.
Presented by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT), the information-packed day will provide opportunities that business owners, both new and existing, can use in their businesses.
The 50-minute tracks include workshops, roundtables and panel discussions regarding legal concerns, business development, accounting, angel investing, marketing and media and other topics for the business-savvy owner.
The luncheon features nationally-recognized author and trainer Lee Knapp, whose business headquarters are in Fort Myers, and who will have participants on their feet with her high-energy, enthusiastic, and fun-loving approach to business today. The luncheon is sponsored by Borrego Springs Bank.
"We are looking forward to hosting this annual event alongside SWFBT," said Dan Regelski, executive director for the SBDC. "Our small business clients continue to look for ways to improve their entrepreneurial skills, and this seminar will help them to do just that."
