FGCU Art Gallery Presents "Finals: Fall Senior Project Exhibitions"

FORT MYERS, FL The Galleries at Florida Gulf Coast University presents Finals: Fall Senior Project Exhibitions, with an opening reception 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Art Gallery. Each student will give a brief presentation on their exhibition beginning at 6 p.m. The show runs through Dec. 12.

At the end of their studies, each art major must complete a senior project in which he or she successfully plans, creates and executes a body of work that is conceptually strong and technically proficient. The completed projects are presented in a campus exhibition open to the University community and the general public. Following is a list of each graduating artist and the title of their exhibition.

Sierra Benson - "Foundation First"
Meagan Denison - "Rehabitatilation"
Nick Dzierzeski - "Perpetual Metamorphosis: A Chronological Perspective on Modern Graphic Design"
Joseph Frantz - "The Trophy Room"
Angela Hicks - "Threads of the Wind Dancer"
Vincent C. Morrison - "Grisaille"
Meg Schaap - "Las Meninas Metamorphosing"
Brittany Serra - "The Undermining of the Mind"
Rebecca Trani - "Organic Illuminations"

The Art Gallery is located inside the Arts Complex on FGCU's main campus. The University is located off Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, east of I-75 between exits 123 and 128. Parking is available in Lot 7 for gallery visitors; parking passes are available at the parking kiosk located at the University's entrance.
