Fall Deadline: May 1 by 5:00 PM

Summer Deadline: March 1 by 5:00 PM - Students admitted to FGCU Accelerate programs, Graduate Certificate programs and Post-baccalaureate Non-Degree seeking programs are not eligible to apply.
- Graduate tuition support provides assistance for in-state tuition. It does not cover undergraduate courses or any fees other than tuition
- Graduate students applying for in-state tuition support must be admitted as degree-seeking students for the semester for which the award is sought
- Failure to fulfill any of the award criteria will result in the fellowship being withdrawn/reduced and repayment by the student to the university for the amount of the award
- Span of awards: up to 2 years (or 4 semesters) for master’s degree students; up to 4 years (or 8 semesters) for doctoral degree students
- Approval of this award does not imply eligibility for financial assistance from the university, the state, or the federal government
- Students must reapply every semester to continue or renew their tuition support
- The total number of awards in each category may vary each semester due to budget availability

GRADUATE STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Application Deadlines for Graduate Studies Scholarship

Summer Deadline: April 1 by 5:00 PMTo apply for Graduate Studies Scholarship, students must:
- Submit a complete application by the deadline date; incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Eligible students must be admitted to an FGCU degree-seeking Master's or Doctoral student by the scholarship application deadline.
- Students must have submitted a completed FAFSA form to the U.S. Department of Education by the published deadline. Recipients are awarded on the basis of financial need as determined by the results of the FAFSA application.
- Students must be enrolled in at least 6 Master's or Doctoral credit hours by the end of the add/drop period (1st week of classes) to receive this scholarship.
- Students are expected to be involved in university activities as determined by the Graduate Studies office. Applicants must be willing to represent FGCU's Graduate programs by volunteering for at least two Graduate Studies events (Orientation, Open House, Research Day, Graduate School Fair, etc.).
- This scholarship is only for one semester. Students should submit a new application every semester to be considered for a new award.

Latin American & Caribbean (LAC) Graduate Scholarship

The LAC Scholarship for Graduate Students is designed to provide assistance to international students from designated Latin American and Caribbean countries. The scholarship allows these students to be classified as Florida residents for tuition and fee purposes in accordance with Section 1009.21 (10)(e) Florida Statutes.

Scholarship Terms
- Only students with a valid F-1 visa are eligible to apply.
- The scholarship award will be $500 per semester.
- Once the scholarship is awarded, the student will be classified as special in-state resident for tuition purposes and will be charged the standard in-state tuition rate.
- Dependent upon funding availability, the scholarship may continue until such time as the student has earned or attempted to earn the requisite number of credit hours for his or her designated degree program. Changing degree programs and/or taking excess hours that do not count toward a degree program may disqualify the student from the scholarship.
Scholarship Renewal
- Maintain full-time graduate enrollment status (≥9 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters) or as defined by I.S. immigration regulations.
- Maintain a valid F-1 visa.
- Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 in graduate coursework.
- Submit a new LAC Scholarship Application each semester.

Schulze Future Teacher Scholarship for Teacher Immersion Program (TIP) STEM teacher certification
Toggle More InfoThrough the generosity of the Richard M. Schulze Foundation, the Whitaker Center for STEM Education offers scholarship awards covering tuition to the Teacher Immersion Program (TIP), a graduate-level teacher education program in the College of Education.
The award amount is fixed at $11,400 per student
To be considered:
- Students must be accepted to the TIP program
- Have practical, competent knowledge in a STEM subject area
- Have passed a teacher certification exam in a STEM subject area
- Students must agree to teach a STEM subject in grades 6-12 upon completion of the TIP coursework to be eligible for the scholarship.
