Welcome back to the first full in-person meeting of the Supply Chain Forum of SWFL on the Florida Gulf Coast University campus since 2019, held at the ETI building. It was great to see the smiling faces and the enthusiastic participation at a well-attended event. Many thanks and a deep appreciation for the time and effort put in by the university leadership, the excellent speakers and panelists.

Professor Laura Birou received the Supply Chain Forum of Southwest Florida’s 2021 Difference Maker Award

Professor Laura Birou, Alico Chair in Supply Chain Management received the Supply Chain Forum of Southwest Florida’s 2021 Difference Maker award. This award is given once a year to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the Forum and to the thought and practice of Supply Chain. Professor Birou has made significant contributions in the development and implementation of the Supply Chain Management program at FGCU and has actively mentored students in the program. Congratulations Dr. Birou!
