Alana Nanz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Elon University. At Elon she completed the piano pedagogy program, worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Chair of the Music Department, led music for the University’s Sunday worship series, and focused her senior seminar project on Funding for the Arts. Alana also completed coursework in the Masters of Arts Management program at Shenandoah University. Alana’s professional work experience includes Patron Services and Box Office Management at Shenandoah University and Artis-Naples. Prior to her position at FGCU, Alana served as the Youth Education Director at the Centers for the Arts of Bonita Springs, where she programmed after school classes and summer camps in Art, Theater, Music and Dance. Alana has taught private piano lessons for the past 10 years and continues to teach in Fort Myers. In addition to piano, Alana’s performing arts background includes flute, marching band, concert band, choir, dance and theatre. Currently Alana and her husband Eric help lead music at their home church, Covenant Presbyterian of Fort Myers, as well as at camps, retreats and conferences.
