Ann Tilman, Ed.D., SB-RPT, is an Assistant Professor in School Counseling. Prior to moving to higher education, she was a professional school counselor in Florida. She is a certified school counselor (FL), a School Based-Registered Play Therapist™ (SB-RPT™) through the Association for Play Therapy, and AutPlay certified. She uses play and creativity to generate solutions and translates this philosophy into all aspects of planning comprehensive school counseling programs and school counselor training. Dr. Tilman is also a core member of the Community Autism Network@FGCU and engages in training, service, and research relating to autism. Professional organizations include the American School Counselor Association, Association for Play Therapy (Chair of the School Counselor Task Force, member of CE & Registration Committee), Florida School Counselor Association, and Florida Association for Play Therapy (Vice President).
