Jarvis Judge-Barnes Profile

With a passion for helping the youth, Jarvis has dedicated well over a decade of his professional career to higher education. For majority of his career, he has specialized in helping students and their families navigate an important college barrier; financing the cost of their education. Working in the department of Financial Aid & Scholarships, Jarvis went above and beyond to ensure each student whom he made contact with were given equitable resources and information. More recently taking his career and passion for higher education to the next level, he is currently the Director of Community Engagement & Outreach here at the university. In this role, Jarvis is able to couple his financial aid background with his outgoing personality to engage community partners and organizations with a goal of giving FGCU more exposure to the Southwest Florida community and surrounding areas.
