My research area used to be Finite Groups: Injectors, Projectors and Normalizers. Although a hiatus of 20+ years from academia has resulted in little further effort in these areas, an interest still exists to further explore these topics. In addition, certain pedagogical areas such as class size, frequency of class meetings and delivery of material are constantly changing and offer opportunities for investigation. As chair of a dynamic department at a growing university, these topics arise and are examined often.
