Prior to serving as the interim Chair of the Department of Software Engineering at FGCU, Dr. Yih has been the Associate Vice President for Research for 15 years in three different institutions. Dr. Yih was also the founding Dean of Graduate Studies at FGCU for nine years. His areas of expertise include CAD/CAE, solid mechanics, and nanomedicine. Dr. Yih is working on promoting engineering education and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
