Professor Munir R. Al-Suleh joined Florida Gulf Coast University as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering, U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering, in January 2011. 

He earned his B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering in 2000 from Birzeit University in Birzeit, Palestine and his M.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering in 2003 and his Corporate MBA in 2019 from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Professor Al-Suleh is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida since 2007 and has been employed as an Environmental Engineer/Project Manager at CDM Smith, Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida since November 2018. Before that, he was a Senior Project Engineer with AIM Engineering and Surveying, Inc. in Fort Myers from November 2016 to October 2018. He also worked as a Project Engineer at Bean, Whitaker, Lutz, and Kareh, Inc. in Fort Myers from November 2003 to October 2016. He has more than 15 years of experience in water, wastewater and stormwater design and project management. He has served as engineer-of-record for several projects in Southwest Florida.

Professor Al-Suleh is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW), School of Business and Technology, since 2009. He is a member of Florida Engineering Society (FES), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
