The Student Design club is an RSO, a student run campus organization set up in 2014 by design seniors. The club runs as a social space for students to meet and learn from one another, but it also operates as a design studio. Along with learning new skills through workshops, students have also designed for private clients, competed in design competitions and worked with other on campus groups or departments.
The club raises funds for events, holds gaming evenings and host other events are part of building a vibrant design community within the Digital Media Design program.
The design club also hosts the annual Design portfolio review where students at any level can have their portfolios reviewed by professional designers. This is especially useful for juniors and seniors.
Students may also join the Digital Media Design discord, where they can share design tips and help one another grow as designers, while getting to know each other better.
